Chiropractic Cochrane AB Naturopathic DoctorWhat to Expect

When you walk into Cochrane Family Chiropractic, you will be greeted by our receptionists or another practitioner to check-in for your appointment. Dr. Cait will meet you in the lobby and bring you back to the treatment area. During the first appointment we will discuss your health concerns, health history, and lifestyle in detail. We may also request some lab tests to help determine the diagnosis or to help guide treatment. At this time, we will typically make dietary and lifestyle changes as well as make some basic supplement recommendations. During your second appointment, we will create your individualized treatment plan together which will include follow-ups, check-ins, and possibly acupuncture.

Pediatrics

Dr Cait believes that you’re never too young to start to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle and take control of our health. Whether you’re looking for help with food introductions, ear infections, eczema, or autism we have tools that can help. Children get sick easily, but they also recover quickly. During the first appointment at Cochrane Family Chiropractic, we will discuss the health history of your child as well as the health of the parent/surrogate during the pregnancy and the family history. As with adults, the typical treatment for pediatric patients will involve diet and lifestyle modification as well as basic supplementation. We will create a plan to cater to your child’s needs.

Trigger point release is a method of acupuncture where needles are inserted into tight muscles to prompt the muscle to release. The effects of the trigger point release method are often felt immediately.
